(Middletown, OH) -- No injuries, and no evacuations or "shelter-in-place" orders given, Monday night, as a fire burned at the AK Steel plant.

The fire was reported before 8pm, and flames and smoke was visible for miles.  Middletown's Fire Department requested assistance from Monroe, to control the blaze.

It was knocked down around 10pm.  Early indications are the fire started in a storage tanker, filled with lubricating oil, parked at the steel plant.
