An elderly woman found slumped over her mobility scooter had drank up to six vodkas a lunch, police say.

Tina Morris said she only stopped because her back was sore and to smoke a cigarette.

Police thought she was drunk while driving her scooter, which tops out at 8 mph. Morris refused to take a breath test.

"I wasn't drunk," Morris said. "I had only had two or three double vodkas with my lunch."
