Thousands of students are about to sit through graduation ceremonies and hear cliched speeches about how the world is now theirs and they shape the future.

That does not mean they can be trusted to go 15 minutes without taking a selfie.

Bryant University in Rhode Island announced they are banning students from taking selfies during graduation next month.

The school is afraid that if too many of the roughly 850 graduates take a selfie when accepting their diploma, it will make the ceremony last too long.
