People have always assumed that pornography for women needs to feature emotional connections and sweet, gentle lovemakeing.

A new study is dispelling that notion.

Neuroscientists Ogi Ogas and Sai Gaddam studied women's brains as they watched porn and found that while most women do not regularly consume adult entertainment, the ones who do are turned on by the same things as men.

"What turns women on is different to what they wish turned them on or how they politically feel about it," Ogas said.

In other words, women might think they want something, but in reality, their porn preferences are similar to men's.
