Nickelback shared their new music video for their single "Feed The Machine," and if you want to see what a dystopian society looks like, look no further than this visual.
In the "Feed The Machine" video, which was directed by Simian Design (who has directed videos for bands like Breaking Benjamin and Black Stone Cherry), we see masked military-like soldiers on the hunt for some less fortunate humans. Think the Hunger Games ... or an episode of Black Mirror.
"Feed The Machine" is the title track from Nickelback's ninth studio album of the same name, which is set to be released on June 16th, and is already at No. 11 at Active Rock radio chart. The band's new album Feed The Machine follows their 2014 LP No Fixed Address, which hit No. 1 on the US Top Rock Albums chart, US Top Alternative Albums chart, and US Top Hard Rock Albums chart, as well as No. 4 on the Billboard 200.
Nickelback will be hitting the road this June, shortly after their new album is released, on their "Feed The Machine Tour," stopping in 45 cities across North America including Detroit, Los Angeles, Chicago, Toronto, among others, with more dates to be added. Daughter will join Nickelback on the trek for their US dates and with Shaman's Harvest will be on the full tour. Cheap Trick will also be special guests for the western Canadian leg.
