The murder-for-hire case against As I Lay Dying frontman Tim Lambesis is apparently still in a holding pattern. The rocker was back in a Vista, California courtroom Wednesday after a pre-trial readiness conference was delayed last month. But according to Lambgoat, nothing noteworthy took place except for the scheduling of Lambesis' next court date for February 19th.
Sources say "negotiations" are ongoing, suggesting that a plea deal could still be in the works. Lambesis is accused of trying to hire a hitman to kill his estranged wife.
Meanwhile, Tim Lambesis metal side project, Austrian Death Machine, has announced plans to release a new album. Triple Brutal is due out April 1st, and a preview of the new track "I'll Be Back" is streaming now on the group's Facebook page and YouTube.
Royalties from the band's third album -- which was crowd-funded via Indiegogo -- will be donated to the World Vision Charity.
