AWOLNATION is apparently getting some help from former Journey singer Steve Perry on the group's next album.
Frontman Aaron Bruno tells "Rolling Stone" Perry is one of the "massive surprises" that could happen as they work on the follow-up to their debut Megalithic Symphony. But Bruno didn't share any other details about his work with Perry, and was even reluctant to talk about the singer by name at first.
He said it feels weird to talk about spending time with the man behind one of rock's biggest voices, explaining that it always feels like he's bragging. But Bruno says Perry actually contacted him, and they eventually became friends.
Hopefully, fans will be able to hear what they've been working on soon!
