TWITTER TROLLS are finally going DOWN!!

Twitter has taken the “big boy” step of finally realizing something that has been painfully obvious to most of us for quite a while now. They’ve finally acknowledged that there’s an ‘abuse problem’ on their platform, and they’re now taking steps to trying and curb it.

Theyre modifying the search, and twitter is promising that their search results will be much “safer” from here on out. What that means is that tweets from blocked and muted accounts, or ones that have been deemed “sensitive” will be weeded out. So if you want to seek them out, you can, but they’ll no longer just show up in a random search.

Twitter’s focus has been identifying the replies they call “low quality.” Once they’re identified, then they’re collapsed. Again, if you want this stuff, you can find it…it just won’t be put in front of you as it has been. This cleanup will take a couple of weeks to finally get completely rolled out. Look for additional changes in the coming weeks, some obvious, and some not…but all intended to finish off the problem for good within their platform.

Have you ever had to take down a Twitter troll?   the best way to deal with these attention whores?  Have you ever found yourself being the troll?
