The Texas Senate has voted to ban the use of red light cameras!
Police and trauma experts support the cameras saying they reduce crashes.... but i have always felt that they are set to shorten the yellow light to catch people and then extort money out of regular citizen drivers.
The Senate has twice voted before to ban red light cameras but it failed to pass the Texas House.
Another bill which passed would bar state and local governments from blocking vehicle registrations based on outstanding tickets issued by red light cameras.
