MR. MET (NYMets Mascot) FLIPS OFF FANS.....gets FIRED!!

WARNING....VIDEO   shows a finger gesture DO NOT WATCH IF EASILY OFFENDED

Mr. Met who was so frustrated after Wednesday night's 7-1 loss to the Milwaukee Brewers that he flipped the bird at a fan after the game—which of course was caught on camera and tweeted nearly immediately and—unlike the Mets play this year—caught everyone’s attention GOING VIRAL.

Of course the team immediately fired the employee and sent out an immediate apology tweeting:

"We apologize for the inappropriate action of this employee," the Mets said in an email attributed to the organization. "We do not condone this type of behavior. We are dealing with this matter internally."

Now, in defense of Mr. Met, a story has surfaced saying fans had taunted him with profanity before he snapped but come on—the Mets are six games under .500, ten games behind the Nationals and having an abysmal season.
