Jessie Diggins and Kikkan Randall won the gold medal in cross-country skiing yesterday . . . the first medal for the U.S. team in 42 years. And the announcers went nuts. Their names are Steve Schlanger and Chad Salmela . . . Salmela is the one screaming. The event was the women's team sprint. To be honest, it was a pretty exciting finish . . . we were in third place at the start of this clip, and Diggins just went BEAST on everybody. She won by two-tenths of a second.
