IS JASON GARRETT TRYING TO GET FIRED? This weekend, the COWBOYS cut arguably the best kicker in franchise history , DAN BAILEY from the team roster.....that decision was just another indication that coach Jason Garrett's job is on the line in 2018 more than it ever has been.
Its like a 1-2-3 punch.
So we have the release of the best kicker in franchise history who is second all-time in career field goal percentage to make room for an unproven player, Brett Maher who has never made an NFL field goal.
AND the release of receiver in DEZ Bryant who holds the franchise record for touchdown catches
AND apparently, they havent done alot to replace Jason Witten other than to just go with the next-man-up philosophy at tight end.
And even though they changed some of the coaching staff ....its still the same at the top with Garrett, offensive coordinator Scott Linehan and defensive coordinator Rod Marinelli. WTF?
Its like every corporation nowadays, things are going badly so lets fire all the workers that actually do the work and keep the moron managers that practically sank the company into bankruptcy...or better yet give those idiots a multi million dollar bonus.
We are now at the eighth full season with a 68-55 record but only one playoff win to show for it. I am feeling depressed for this season already.
