The Lafayette Police Department says they don't recommend calling 911 for help with homework, but posted audio on Twitter of a dispatcher brightening a kid's day.
The kid called 911 last week, because he had a bad day at school and a lot of math homework. So the dispatcher helped him with a problem about fractions. At the end the kid apologized for calling.Â
