Weather Girl Gets Death Threats for Tornado Coverage During Masters

CBS46 in Georgia interrupted coverage of the Masters on Sunday afternoon, to do a tornado watch and their meteorologist Ella Dorsey got death threats because of it. They did a split screen for a few minutes, so people could see the Masters (but not hear it) while they tracked a severe storm in the Atlanta area.

A tornado did touch down an hour outside of Atlanta. She addressed it on air later that day, and said the backlash was disgusting.
