Aerosmith canceled last night's Las Vegas 'Deuces Are Wild' concert after front man Steve Tyler lost his voice.
The singer poked fun at the setback in a Tweet, with a photo depicting him wearing an "Out of order" sign on his throat.
"I lost my voice.... But I can't talk about it," he wrote, before explaining that disappointed fans will all be issued refunds.
Aerosmith's next scheduled performance is September 28. The band has not yet made an announcement about the status of that concert.
Aerosmith's 50th anniversary residency at the Park Theater in Las Vegas has dates on the books through June 2020.
Another of Tyler's fellow screamers, Roger Daltrey, called off a Houston, Texas, performance with The Who on Wednesday after about 45 minutes when his voice failed him.
The band later announced that Daltrey had come down with bronchitis and the band would be unable to perform its scheduled concerts in Dallas on Friday and Denver, Colorado, on Sunday.
Guitarist Pete Townshend assured fans that the band would make up the affected shows, noting The Who have plans to return to the U.S. next spring. Townshend added his sincerest apologies to people who were inconvenienced, saying he understands the let down goes well beyond the cost of the concert tickets.
Townshend added that Daltrey is getting better and the band expects to resume its 'Moving On!' tour within a matter of days.
