Sammy Hagar & The Circle are taking their live act to Las Vegas this fall for a residency at Sin City's tallest skyscraper, the Strat Hotel and Casino.

'Sammy Hagar and Friends' kicks off on the Strip on Halloween weekend, October 29 - 30 and continues Nov. 5 - 6.

Tickets start at $100 and go on sale to the public July 1 at 10 a.m.

Hagar says The Circle — featuring Michael Anthony, Vic Johnson and Jason Bonham — has "the best setlist in the world," pulling from Hagar's solo career, his Montrose days, his and Anthony's Van Halen career and a handful of classics from Bonham's late-father's band, Led Zeppelin.

Furthermore, Hagar told the Las Vegas Review-Journal that his Vegas audience can expect plenty of big-name special guests to join the fray, like Toby Keith, Rick Springfield, Kenny Chesney, Vince Neil and Jerry Cantrell.

If Hagar knows how to do one thing, it's show people a good time, he says.

"I want to create the ultimate environment where I can throw the ultimate party, like I have done in Cabo for 30 years for my birthday, but at another time of year in Las Vegas, which is really the party capital of the world," Hagar said. "I hate to put Cabo second to anything, but I feel in this case it's gotta take second place to Las Vegas."

Hagar isn't new to doing business in Vegas. He's played countless shows in Sin City, including his various ventures in the restaurant and liquor industries. But he's also seen tons of Vegas shows, and now that the time for his residency has come, he says he knows how to make it a memorable experience.

“I’ve seen all the different residencies, you know, Styx, Def Leppard. I’ve seen all of them. Elton John — even all that,” Hagar said. “For me, I’m thinking, what do I want to do if I’m going to come to Vegas? I really settled, before I found this venue, I was set on the idea of bringing kind of a Cabo Wabo birthday bash, which is turned into the ultimate party on the planet, to Las Vegas.”

After the pandemic pause, Hagar and the Circle returned to the stage in Florida in May with a brief run of shows. The band plans to get back at it in July and August.
