Matt Moseman the lead singer of Edgewater unexpectedly passed away in December. Matt and Edgewater where such a huge staple in the DFW local scene. The Memorial Benefit was a beautiful tribute to Matt's life. So many people jam packed Tree's Thursday night in support of Matt's wife and his 3 beautiful sons. Many business came together as well as The Toadies for merch to be raffled so the proceeds would go to Matt's family for medical bills and things needed.
The best part of the night was when Matt's 3 young boys came up on stage to talk about their Dad and ask people to become organ donors like their Dad. Truly a touching moment.
The DFW music scene is a huge family and it came together once again for a family in time of need and to honor the life of an outstanding musician, father, husband and friend to many.
Huge thanks to Edgewater coming together one last time for Matt. DOWNLO, Meridian and June Halo for playing and Clint and Whitney Barlow and the staff at Trees for all they did. So many people who came together as well as... YOU.. for all you do for our DFW Local Scene! Check out the pics below!
